Coinciding with the celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, today, December 3rd, and as part of the activities organized by the Adecco Foundation and Grupo Torrent, we held a meeting with Raquel Domínguez, athlete, voice actress, and ambassador of the Adecco Foundation.
Raquel is a woman who radiates energy, determination, and optimism. Her personal and professional journey is an inspiring example of perseverance: diagnosed in childhood with a degenerative bone disease and having undergone numerous surgeries, she has managed to become a high-level athlete, competing in duathlon, triathlon, and aquathlon.
Her story is a reminder that talent knows no limits and that people can achieve extraordinary goals when they are given real opportunities and are surrounded by environments that believe in them.
An initiative that makes a difference
These meetings, promoted by the Adecco Foundation, aim to bring inspiring experiences closer to companies, fostering reflection, awareness, and the importance of building inclusive environments. For Grupo Torrent, taking part in initiatives like this not only enriches our workforce but also reinforces our commitment to a business model where people are at the center.
A lasting commitment
The collaboration between the Adecco Foundation and Grupo Torrent continues to move forward with a shared goal: to support inclusion and provide guidance to people with disabilities and their families.
A year ago, we shared the story of Juliana (the daughter of one of our employees), a beneficiary of the Foundation’s Family Plan.
Although this new meeting is not directly related to that program, it reminds us that the collaboration remains active and continues to be part of the company’s social DNA.

Inspiration to close the year
We are approaching a time of reflection, connection, and the desire to keep building a better future. In this context, Raquel’s presence takes on special meaning: her example invites us to look beyond challenges, to value people’s abilities, and to continue generating a positive impact both inside and outside the company.
At Grupo Torrent, we believe in second chances, in stories that inspire transformation, and in the power of creating environments where every person can give their best.
The initiative with the Adecco Foundation and Raquel’s participation remind us that when we join forces, real change becomes possible.
