This was delivered at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.itene.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>ITENE<\/strong><\/a> Technological Centre and was attended by cardboard, flexible packaging and films manufacturers, and food packers. Also attending were retail sector professionals who manage the regulatory aspects that affect packaging.<\/p>\n<p>The objective of the course was to facilitate and help packaging manufacturing companies in contact with food on those issues that have to do with the <strong>packaging<\/strong> and <strong>food safety compliance<\/strong>. Among the topics discussed, Sonia highlighted the practical and updated approach of the latest developments in the sector through a presentation of practical and successful cases.<\/p>\n<h2>Development of our SINTRA stopper<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"\/?page_id=1302\">The development of our <strong>SINTRA<\/strong> stopper was presented as a success story<\/a>. During her talk, Sonia Tu\u00f1\u00f3n explained the study that we have undertaken to test the food safety of the Bisphenol A-free <strong>SINTRA<\/strong> stopper. She concluded by saying that all the test results were positive, complying both with European and<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mercosur.int\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>MERCOSUR<\/strong><\/a> legislation, given that the main destination of <a href=\"\/?page_id=1283\"><strong>SINTRA <\/strong><\/a>stoppers is South America.
