Recently, Grupo Torrent<\/strong> participated as a guest company at InnovArte<\/strong>, an industrial design and innovation event organized by the School of Engineering at the<\/strong> University of C\u00e1diz (UCA)<\/strong>.<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This annual meeting brings together companies, educators, and students to discuss creativity, product development, and technological innovation applied to industrial design. This edition focused on how companies face the challenges of design industrialization<\/strong> and the transition from concept to real product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Practical Vision of Product Development<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our presentation focused on the industrial perspective<\/strong> of product development, sharing how at Torrent Innova<\/strong> we transform an idea into a functional, attractive, and sustainable closure. During the talk, our team \u2014which includes former UCA students\u2014 explained how we combine design, engineering, and production processes<\/strong> to create solutions that meet market requirements while embracing values such as sustainability, resource optimization, and continuous innovation<\/strong>. Hence, our presentation was titled \u201cWith Our Feet on the Ground.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also showcased some of our most representative projects, where collaboration between the design, R&D, and production departments<\/strong> has led to the creation of high-precision caps and pourers<\/strong>, adapted to sectors such as olive oil, wine, spirits, and liquors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Collaboration Between Industry and Academia<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One of the most valuable aspects of the event was the exchange with engineering and industrial design students<\/strong> from the University of C\u00e1diz. Throughout the sessions, we discussed trends, emerging materials, automation, and the new challenges of user-centered design<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We firmly believe that collaboration between academia and industry<\/strong> is essential to foster young talent and accelerate innovation. For this reason, Torrent Closures<\/strong> actively promotes knowledge transfer<\/strong> and closer connections with future professionals in the sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Innovation and Industrialization: Two Sides of the Same Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In our presentation, we emphasized that innovation should not remain only in the creative phase<\/strong>, but must find a real path toward production. The industrialization of design<\/strong> requires understanding materials, molds, tolerances, assembly processes, and sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Balancing creativity and efficient manufacturing<\/strong> allows a product to maintain its original essence while remaining viable, reproducible, and competitive \u2014 a philosophy that guides every project within Grupo Torrent<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commitment to Sustainability and the Future of the Sector<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

During our participation in InnovArte, we also highlighted the progress of Torrent Innova<\/strong>, our innovation unit, which focuses on developing new sustainable materials<\/strong>, more efficient closure systems<\/strong>, and production processes with lower environmental impact<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to sustainability, responsible innovation, and purposeful design<\/strong> \u2014 key pillars of our business strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
